When you deal with Catlin, you have direct access to the decision makers. Catlin's hugely experienced team of four senior motor fleet underwriters have a proven track record in this field.
The emphasis is always on clear lines of communication, as team member Neil Faulkner explains. “It is important that our customers know we are approachable. We actively encourage clients to contact us and our priority is to ensure new customers are given the assurances they require whilst long-standing policyholders receive the high level service they have always enjoyed.”
He adds: “Effective dialogue with the underwriting team enables tangible and cost-saving benefits. For instance a client making a claim may want to use a local garage that is not on our approved list. That is fine with us subject to our checking procedures . If, as is often the case, the costs are deemed excessive, we will negotiate a fairer rate. The benefit from this negotiated cost reduction ultimately goes to our clients.”
