Motor Insurance Database

It is a condition of a motor fleet policy to provide details of all insured vehicles for inclusion on the Motor Insurance Database (MID).

Catlin will provide the MID with the vehicle details received from your broker. The broker will then notify of any subsequent vehicle changes and we will in turn update the MID.

Once we have passed your initial details to the MID, any subsequent updates can be carried out in two ways:

1. You can use the spreadsheet to advise us of any new vehicles or any vehicles that need to be removed. Please email this spreadsheet to our MID team at enquiries@motordatasolutions.co.uk and we will ensure the details are updated. Please remember the information needs to be supplied within the prescribed 14 days of the date any vehicle change took effect.
   
   
2. We can arrange for you to have direct access to the MID website. This will allow you to log on and add/remove vehicles on the MID. Please email your MID access request to neil.faulkner@catlin.com.
